Rehabilitation program tailored to your health condition and diagnosis. Combination of therapeutic procedures and medicinal thermal mineral water depending on medical indications and rehabilitation goals

Initial and final examination by a specialist physiatrist. Possibility of consultation with a neurologist and internist specialist and laboratory diagnostics.

Individual physiotherapy procedures and techniques:

  • Therapeutic exercises

INDIBA active therapy

Fast and effective treatment after a traumatic event is crucial for the rehabilitation process. INDIBA Proionic technology provides the most efficient treatments, reduces pain, promotes mobilization, regenerates tissue, and enables faster healing. An ideal choice for sports injuries, bursitis, capsulitis, tendinopathies, and painful spinal syndromes.

Functional magnetic stimulations of the pelvis

It is an effective method of treating various forms of urinary incontinence and other dysfunctions of the pelvic floor muscles for both women and men.

This therapy is suitable for all types of urinary and fecal incontinence, significantly improving the rehabilitation process after urogenital surgery and childbirth, and also helps patients with sexual dysfunction and chronic pain in the pelvic and lumbar spine area.

Indications for functional megnetic stimulation of the pelvis:
·         stress, urgency and mixed urinary incontinence,
·         incontinence after radical prostatectomy,
·         fecal incontinence,
·         postpartum regeneration,
·         mild forms of bladder and uterine prolapse,
·         rehabilitation after pelvic surgery,
·         chronic prostatitis,
·         erectile dysfunction.

Shockwave therapy

Shockwave therapy is a modern and effective treatment method. High-energy sound waves are delivered to painful areas, promoting the natural healing process of the tissue. Shockwaves stimulate circulation and metabolism in pathologically altered tissues, encouraging self-healing. With this innovative treatment, pathological changes in tendons and muscles are systematically eliminated

At SB Lipik, we perform shockwave therapy using the latest generation device, the Duolith SD1 "ultra," which includes treatment with both focused and radial shockwaves, as well as V-actor

Shockwave therapy is used for the following diagnoses:
- Plantar fasciitis (heel spur)
- Radial epicondylitis (tennis elbow)
- Ulnar epicondylitis (golfer's elbow)
- Metataraslgia
- Achillles tendinitis
- Patellar tendinitis
- Trochanteric tendinopathy
- Calcifying tendinitis of the shoulder

Bobath

The Bobath concept is an oriented approach to solving problems of individuals with muscle tone, movement, and function disorders caused by central nervous system damage. It is most widely represented in neurological rehabilitation, which speaks to its value.

This concept is based on the experiential relearning of normal movement and the active participation of the user through therapeutic guidance.

Feldenkrais

The Feldenkrais Method studies the possibilities of changing habits and making better use of human capacity. By acting on the development of the nervous system, biomechanical optimization is achieved, i.e., better organization of movement. This is possible due to the nervous system's ability to reorganize. Practical work emphasizes an individual approach in the process of self-learning.

Inter X

InterX is a medical device for interactive neurostimulation that uses electrical stimulation to relieve acute and chronic pain.

InterX differs from other types of electrostimulation because it has a pulsed, biphasic, sinusoidal, damped waveform that changes depending on the electrical properties of the skin - impedance. It is known that due to sympathetic nerve activity, the impedance of the skin and subcutaneous tissue decreases at the site of pain. InterX identifies these points and then selectively stimulates them with high-density, high-amplitude current. Cutaneous stimulation does not induce muscle contractions, and InterX is safe to use above metal implants.

K-tape

The method of applying special tapes acts to improve muscle function, reduce pain, enhance circulation of bodily fluids, and support joint function, depending on the problem at hand.

Speech therapy is conducted in departments for adult individuals with difficulties in speech and language functioning as part of neurorehabilitation (conditions following a stroke, CNS trauma, and other neurological disorders)

Children primarily come to the speech therapy clinic for articulation difficulties and difficulties in initial reading and writing.

The McKenzie method

The McKenzie Method involves diagnostic and therapeutic techniques used for mechanically induced functional impairments of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.

This method differs from others because its primary treatment involves active self-healing rather than just passive therapist intervention. During the examination, positions and movements are used that allow the patient to influence their symptoms.

Regular daily self-treatment should enable the patient to control their symptoms, thereby achieving partial independence from the therapist.

Slika McKenzie metoda

The Mulligan method

The concept is based on manual mobilizations combined with active movement, and it is effectively applied to the spine and in the therapy of peripheral joints.

The fundamental rule is that the treatment must be pain-free and is used for conditions involving loss of motion in the joint, pain associated with movement, or pain associated with specific activities. In clinical practice, it is used independently or integrated with other common concepts in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

PIR

Post-isometric relaxation (PIR).

PIR is one of the very effective methods used for muscle relaxation and represents a physiotherapy technique used in manual medicine to prepare muscles for mobilization-manipulation. It is based on a mild isometric contraction of the desired muscle with appropriate resistance from the therapist, followed by targeted elongation of the painful, tense muscle.

PNF concept

The PNF concept is based on enhancing all of the patient's abilities, promoting or facilitating muscle function, reducing pain, or retraining movements, for example, after a stroke or brain injury. The patient is very actively involved in therapy because it involves exercises performed together with the therapist.

The therapist places the patient in a specific position and asks them to perform certain movements that are very similar to everyday activities but often with optimal resistance.

Occupational therapy

Occupational therapy is a process that involves assessing the impact of impairment and environment on the performance of activities of daily living (self-care, productivity, leisure) and using purposeful activity as a therapeutic medium to increase a person's independence and improve their quality of life.
